RYDE PIER TRAM

Britain’s oldest surviving tramcar! Wooden single decker tram, dated 1871. Built in Merseyside by G. Starbuck & Company for the Ryde Pier Company, Isle of White to transport passengers between the ferry terminal and town of Ryde.
